Aira Force and Gowbarrow Fell
Aira Force was only 2 miles away from our cottage. We walked up to the humpback bridge at the top of Aira Force. Climbed further to High Force and to the top of Gowbarrow Fell into a sudden hailstorm! Back via Yew Crag with great views across Ullswater lake (northern end and Place Fell and the Helvellyn range)
