Jerry Force - Blackling Hole

I came across Jerry Force Waterfall by chance through a Youtube video on long exposure shots at waterfalls. As you can see from the map the waterfall is not very far from Curlew Cottage (Curlew Cottage at Hauxwell Grange is circled on map 1). I noticed from the video that the walk to the waterfall is not easy. So I was prepared for some climbing. But I got lost and I did a big difficult detour. Once I managed to climb down to the waterfall I spent a long time there trying out Fokus Stacking for the first time and various pictures with ND Filters for long exposures. On the way back I was able to find the ideal route to the waterfall. So next time it will be easier.... Since it was at the beginning of my stay the wild garlic was mostly not in blossom but still a pretty scene in the middle of the dense forest. Afterwards I drove to Lunton Hill in Hamsterley Forest  which is even closer to the cottage. Blackling Hole waterfall is right next to the car park. That was quite a welcome contrast after the strenuous walk to Jerry Force.
