Back in Edmundbyers

It turned out that weatherwise I choose the best day for travel. Apart from a snow shower around Tyndrum the journey back from Glencoe on Friday was smooth and I arrived back at the Caravan park early afternoon. Only to find out that the water-valve outside was frozen! Fortunately I got good advice from Kathryn the new warden. I took an extension cord and used the Hair dryer to unplug it! Good job though I did not come back in the middle of the night. Just after I settled down again in the caravan three fierce storms hit the area in rapid succession over the next days. It was pretty scary at times. However I used every possible moment to be out and about. Despite howling winds, temperatures just above freezing and freak rain and snow showers I found some beautiful new spots in the area as you can see on the next pages.
