Ullapool Day 2

The dawn shoot took us to almost the same location where we were the evening before and it was incredible how a different lighting had a tremendous impact on the whole scenery. For the first shots I clambered up above the road to a small mound. On the first three photos you can see Derek on the right next to the road with his tripod. On the way back we stopped just before the road descends towards Ullapool and the view of Ullapool was fantastic with the snow storm in the distant hills (B+W photos in row three).

The day was again full of rapid changes in the weather, unfortunately the good intervals were not as frequent as the day before. We were really lucky to catch the few glimpses of sunlight especially in the evening thanks to Gary´s experience.

The following day was a complete loss with constant snowfall. However when we arrived back in the Hollytree Hotel on Wednesday Allan took a screen shot from the BBC news weather report which was filmed at Ullapool Pier where we spent the whole day before. (last Photo)
