One of my favourite routes in the area. It is classed as one of the highest roads in England and has some spectacular scenery. The nose shaped top on the first photos is the ridge where you find the ice-age cave overlooking Teesdale.

The weather conditions were great for taking landscape shots with the moody sky and the sun breaking through at times.
