Weather in March up in Edmundbyers had it´s ups and downs but it was another great stay and I managed to find out more details about the landscape. I also managed to get good shots of a variety of birds although the hunt for the kingfisher was unsuccessful. The picture below was taken on my walk above Edmundbyers trying to find some fossiles in the boulders around Belmount Farm which is one of my favourite spots for abandoned farms (At the top with the lone tree on the left) In the centre of the picture you can just make out one of the chimnies above Blanchland.
