Saturday! To avoid the crowds another local walking day in local Nidderdale. We started at Lofthouse to climb up to Middlesmoor and down through the fields into How Stean Beck. We had refreshments at How Stean Gorge but did not go in. Back to Lofthouse because we wanted to walk along the Nid and find Goyden Pot where the Nid goes underground. We could not find it but had a lovely scenic walk nevertheless. The tree on the  photo before last was simply magnificent. It can be seen from a distance on the last photo.
