Filey Brigg

Another tip from the photo book. It is a narrow headland stretching out at the north end of Filey Bay. It is a huge car park and the info in the book was great. It says to drive to the very end of the car park because it is nearest to Filey Brigg. Ellen recommended to collect the ticket at the entrance of the car park because there is no ticket machine at the end! That saved me a long flip flop walk.

When I reached the top of the cliff where you can descend to the headland there were four photographers watching a group of Dolphins! I scrambled down the narrow steep path to the headland. Ellen is absolutely right. In wet weather it is safer to take the longer route along the beach.

The fly by of the cormorant was great. I did a lot of shots of the crushing waves and scouted the best place for sunrise which is to the left of the headland for future visits.
