Drove to Buttermere via Rosthwaite and the Honister Pass where we went with Maudie,Richie, Hetti and Bruno 30 years ago. Fantastic walk to Scale Force after a nice coffee at Buttermere. Back over Honister Pass to our favourite Flock Inn Tea Room at Rosthwaite where we just managed to get something to eat before it closed and finally again down memory lane by visiting the Bowder Stone. It is famous for its hole where you can link hands underneath the stone from both sides. The last two photos are from our visit there with our parents.
