A wonderful evening where I took the opportunity to walk through the fields next to Long Marton Church (just underneath Long Marton on the map) and very close to our holiday cottage. Fortunately the gate into the fields was open and I could wonder around. I really enjoyed the beautiful scenery. On photo #3 you can see one of the many viaducts of the Settle Carlisle Railway line. I later on crossed the railway line and continued into the fields beyond which gave me more unobstructed view of the scenery. The Farm on photo #5 is Park Farm (see map).
