Walk towards Chimneys above Huntstantworth

The day I came back from the Northumbrian coast the moon was supposed to be great. So I asked Robbie my neighbour at Village Green to join me on a scouting exhibition what would be the best place to photograph it. You should have some landmark in the photo to make the size of the moon appear bigger. My intention was to include the two chimneys above Edmundbyers. So we took the road from Huntstantworth towards Rookhope and I soon found my spot. Robbie suggested to have a walk and I agreed. It turned out to be a fantastic walk through the rough towards the chimneys and back which took us almost 3 hours. I hardly had time to get back and get a rest before I had to go back for the moon to rise....
