On our way from Letchworth to our holiday cottage in Pateley Bridge we visited Knaresborough just a few miles north of Harrogate. From the castle you have a fantastic view of the town looking down onto the river Nidd and the Viaduct. We had a walk down from the castle along the eastern bank of the river.
