One can see the lonely farm from the road to Stanhope. It is only a short walk away from the road that branches off towards Baybridge. It is also visible from Horseshoe Hill one of my favourite places on my evening tours. (On photo number 9 you can just spot the radio masts on top of horse shoe hill in the top right corner). I had a walk one Sunday afternoon to check the location for sunrise. I managed to get a good range of different shots some of which I turned into black and white. I am looking forward to go there again with my new set of B+W filters and try them out. When I googled the farm I was quite surprised to find out about it´s gruesome past: Hunstanworth history

Having read the whole story I am having second thoughts about going there on my own early in the morning.....

On the way back I managed to get some good evening scenes further towards Edmundbyers.
