Another of my favourite spots in the area. Blythburgh is south of Lowestoft with the A12 cutting through the village. We have done walks along the river Blyth towards the coast through some really nice woodland before. The church has a really interesting history. There is an information board giving you the details of the plane crash that killed John F. Kennedy´s older brother. You can find more details in this article:

There is a parking lot next to the church just off the A12 from which you can reach the river easily. On this holiday I went with Jürgen once and we both took photographs of the sunset and some days later I took Rosalind there and we had a great walk with Amy further up the river. Great evening scenes all around!
