We took a short walk towards Scale Haw Force from Hebden which is a fifteen minute drive from Pateley Bridge. Tucked away to the north of Hebden village is Scale Haw Force. The little stream Hebden Beck drops around five metres in a single step, forming a cascade that looks almost tropical. From Hebden we drove to Burnsall and on the way we had fantastic views from the high road towards Burnsall.

At Burnsall we had lunch next to the beautiful five arched bridge and afterwards a wonderful walk along the river Wharfe downstream to Linton Falls underneath Grassington. After a rest in Grassington back the same way to Burnsall. 23.000 steps altogether. Very strenous for Amy.... and too tired to really have a good look at the falls.
