I went back to the Old Barn at the bottom of Swinhopeburn where I took the shots of the Barn Owl during my last stay. I sat at the wall and waited for the Barn Owl to come out for almost two hours. But I guess I was too early. She never came. But have a look at what else I managed to see. Two hours well spent I think. I got the idea to do the close ups of the little plants growing on the stonewall while waiting and I want to come back with my proper Macro Lens. The 500mm Telelens however does also do great closeups of insects and flowers as you can see.
