More Birds

The jackdaw couple were sitting in a tree at Cowbyre Farm above the Derwent Reservoir where I stopped to scout for the sunrise pictures towards Derwent Reservoir. The Chaffinch sat on the wall just outside our Caravan. I caught the long tailed tit on a walk along the Derwent where the buzzard was circling above and the small bird up in the tree still needs to be identified. The nuthatch, the magpie, the grey squirrel and the phesant were taken at the hide at the Thornley Woodlands Centre. The red grouse was braving the stormy weather together with me up on the fells near the Allenheads chimneys. The black bird was another guest on the wall outside our caravan. The lapwings were next to the road from Newbiggin to Westgate where I also managed to catch the Short eared owl. The red squirrel was above the Allen outside the cafe at Allenheads.
