As expected we had to leave the van at the start of the incline (photo no 1). The road was full of ice. It was however a great walk up. The scenery up at the top was majestic. When I arrived at the top I thought the two walkers in the distance on photo no8 were Paul and Mark from our group but it turned out they were two snowboarders. We spent almost two hours at the top. Fortunately there was no wind so the temperatures were bearable. It was great. Only regret was that I didn´t take my tripod to be able to do a panorama of the whole scene in front of us.
