Just south of Lowestoft Covehithe is our favourite beach in the area. There is a small parking area at the Church. One can walk north towards Benacre Broad or south towards Southwold. Erosion of the cliffs has taken down lots of trees and the tree skeletons are good motives for photos. As on all the holidays in Lowestoft we visited Covehithe several times. Especially in the evening the tranquile Benacre Broad just off the shore is great.
