Another visit to Low Barns Nature Reserve

It was too early to have huge activities from the birds but Low Barns is always worth a visit. Male and female Tufted Ducks (Reiherenten); Male and female Bullfinch (Gimpel / Dompfaff) feasting on the first buds; Male and female Chaffinch (Buchfink) Thanks to Collins Bird dictionary I was able to identify the female Chaffinch which I would have counted as a sparrow :). The busy Nuthatch (Kleiber) and a Blue Tit (Blaumeise). The sculpture of a Curlew is part of the new "Peace in our time" trail which has several bird sculptures around the park. I came across this beautiful curlew sculpture at the end of my visit and I am looking forward to find the other sculptures during my next stay.
