Glen Etive

After you turn off from the A82 towards Loch Etive you come to the waterfall at the river Coupall after a few hundred yards (first 5 shots).

We went there again on a later day when the next 3 shots in brighter  weather conditions were taken.

I also took some great shots of that waterfall in January 2024. When you follow the single track road further you come to a waterfall which is called Triple Falls and is at the beginning of a rocky gorge (next 2 shots (photo 9 and 10)). Access to the gorge was far too dangerous for us due to the weather conditions so we continued along the single track road until we arrived at Lochan Urr which is around midway through Glen Etive. We walked down to the Loch and had a great time enjoying the wonderful scenery (shots 11 - 18). Although already tired we drove the rest of the track until we arrived at Loch Etive where we walked around and found some fantastic spots to get the reflexions and the moody sky which made the sun look almost moonlike. I again made use of the 10mm lens (last 6 shots). The way back on the same single track was strenuous but it was a great trip.
