I was lucky to see the sunset on my way back from Rookhope to Blanchland. I have travelled this high road with the beautiful views several times before. Last January I stopped and noticed that if you walk towards the edge of the plateau from the road just after you cross the cattle grid once you reach the high plateau the view towards Beldon Cleugh is great. So this time I arrived just in time to walk to the same spot and was able to experiment with the cotton grass in the foreground and the wonderful sunset.
